I made this video to honor my community and family who supported me with the best birthday gift ever, your love, your affirmation, your support and some of your dollars to support my time at the Furious Flower Poetry Center. My time at Furious Flower was truly priceless because it gave me the clarity to see that being a poet is a key part of my life's purpose (maybe some of you knew that already), but amazing mentors, peers and ancestors showed up to bloom me into full belief.
